What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comment forms, as well as the visitor’s IP address and the browser user agent string to help detect spam.

An anonymised string (also called a hash), created from your email addresses, may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture is visible to the public next to your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Website visitors can download and extract all location data from images on the site.

Contact forms

Contact forms contain personal data because it is necessary to know the identity of those contacting us. After receiving the email associated with the contact form containing your data, the email is automatically deleted from the site/server within a maximum of 7 days.

Data stored in our database will be deleted after a maximum period of 3 years or within a maximum of 12 hours from the date of your request sent by email.

Order forms

As an online order site, you are required to fill in the order forms with your identification data so that we know the location where to send the order. After the order is completed, usually within 7 days, the emails sent during the order process, order confirmation and/or payment, and order completion will be automatically deleted from the server/site after 7 days.

Your data associated with the completed orders can be deleted immediately after the order is finalised, within a maximum of 12 hours from the time we receive your email requesting this.

Newsletters/RSS

Blat-lemn.ro does not send third-party newsletter emails, so we do not require your consent for a service we do not provide. In special cases, where a particular client requests periodic information about our products, they can subscribe to the RSS feed (https://blat-lemn.ro/blat-si-mobilier-lemn-stejar/feed).

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt to save your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
